Les Amis des Freres (Friends of the Brothers) is an organization of former Christian Brothers of the San Francisco District, their wives, families, and friends. Its purpose is to foster the educational mission of the Christian Brothers, hold communal events for the membership and provide timely information for the members. Organizational meetings are held regularly to which all members are invited. Former Brothers from other Districts and those who were in formation for the Brotherhood are also welcome.

The primary beneficiary of Les Amis des Freres is LEO (Lasallian Educational Opportunities) a tutorial educational program for inner-city youth of Oakland, California sponosered by the Christian Brothers. Each year Les Amis honors several deserving Brothers for their life-long commitment to youth and the ideals of Saint La Salle.

A Brother appointed by the Provincial serves as coordinator between the organization and the District.
